  1. Hi Pete Excellent to hear you're still around!!! Must have ridden a few trials together "back then" eh? I remember the OSSA but had forgotten about the Majesty. When we going to see you at a Man17 event then? It's the 29th Dave Rowland Trophy Trial on Sunday 13th July, so maybe then? Cheers for now Rick Stewart

Thanks from me too AtomAnt! Perfect!! Exactly what I've been telling the kids for years!!! The Principle of Perpetual Paternal Parental Pefection!!! And now I've even got it in writing from an Amdinistrator!!! I think we need a halo smiley ...

Hi AtomAnt As you'll know, I haven't posted that much on TC. I do come on quite often for a look around though, especially on the forums and especially when we've just had - or are about to have - an event that I'm involved with, in this case the Bemrose Trial. At the risk of sounding creepy, it really is an amazing and invaluable site. I came on and found that someone was enquiring about a document - the cover of the Bemrose Prog - which I, as author of said document, am probably in the best position of all the many worldwideTC users, to supply. Hopefully, via billycraig, I've now been able to do that, gladly and FOC. Ta to billy for his help. What was concerning me and, I think, honda_tlr was that something came up that I'd never seen before that said Warn and then had 5 red boxes after it, red usually meaning danger etc. I couldn't find anything about it in the Help files but wanted to be sure I hadn't unwittingly stepped over some line - wasn't sure how I could have done that with what I'd just done but wanted to make sure. I also wasn't clear about the meaning of the 0% thing. I see from your recent posting that I've now grown an extra couple of boxes, but that one of them is green. I'm hoping that it all just means I'm legit., haven't done anything deemed naughty and that it's a sliding scale from green to red with the 0% increasing each time someone commits a nono? Something new to TC? Hope this helps and clarifies. Cheers and KUTGW

And now those little red squares by my name and for honda_tlr have been and gorn away, all by themselves ... What gives Atom? Is it them gremlins again , is it magic or is someone maybe doing some spannerwork on the site and they popped up as a temporary anomaly? If I did do something I shouldna oughta have please let me know as - like honda_tlr - I've no idea what I've did that someone or something (cue X-Files theme) thinks I have - or haven't - done. I think. Maybe. As Alan Turing (one of the Enigma Codebreakers and considered one of the fathers of modern computing) said "machines take me by surprise with great frequency". Kind of apt for a trials site!

I've got one of them as well and was wondering about it. Didn't notice it last night when I was on. I've probably done something wrong (yet again ... ) or owe someone some money (yet again ... )! Had a look in the Help thingy but it denied all knowledge. Maybe I didn't ask it nicely enough or in exactly the right wording.
  7. Joey You'll be Joe Nicholas, Bemrose Clubman Winner from last year then? I did the masters for the Bemrose Programme cover and route map (but not the actual print-off, half of which seems to have been eaten by Alan's copier on some of the Programmes I saw) and you're welcome to have a copy of it. My son Andrew also took both the cover photos. (I forgot to put a credit on the Prog though - Dad's done it wrong again! ) I've not done anything on TC apart from standard postings/replies before now so I'll need to work out exactly how to get it in here or send it directly to you. Leave it with me for now. Rick
  8. Hi all. As was said above, what a crackin trial. Personally, I reckon everybody won! I even managed to be in the car between sections when those hailstone squalls came over! Just posted 573 photos to the Fotki site http://public.fotki.com/MACC-MAN17-CNWTRIA...-derbyshire-yo/ We didn't get everywhere and won't have seen everyone but that lot should keep you going for a while A special "well done" to anyone who managed to get through my Section (No 25 at Churnett), including an amazing (i.e. he was as amazed as anyone) 2 from Eiger - just goes to show what Yamaha-power can do ... Oh, and thanks to everyone who said thanks for observing

No prob, mate! Now you know where to look for "where & when", no doubt we'll see you on a hill somewhere nearby sometime soon And the same goes for Man 17 as it probably does for all the other clubs I mentioned (and likely every other club in the country) - VRR ... Volunteers Rarely Refused!
