Hi thanks it’s got a formula clutch lever and was told gas gas stopped using because they weren’t any good . Got a Ajp one coming Will give that a try , the oil in there is black so all signs showing it’s a duff piston and seal

Hi all live got a 2003 gas gas 280 , I’ve had the clutch replaced when I had the crank case bearing done about two weeks ago at a trial at the weekend after about a hour the clutch was slipping in all gears , the oil has no contamination , I have noticed that the clutch piston has some Oil seeping out and the oil is turning a black colour could this leak be what the slipping is ie not enough pressure to release it’s a formula clutch and have been told these are not good and to get a ajp mineral one as this is what should have been on it regards Michael
