  2. I milled mine from aluminum bar, 40mm is perfect and effects handling in a positive way, it gives more room on the bike with little or no change to weight distribution. Takes all the strain off the lower back and puts the bars more in front of you. 2cents
  3. I'm 6'2" and I've got 40mm Risers on a GasGas 250 and they help a lot. Keeping your knees bent takes a lot of the pressure off your back too, even if you only do it every few minutes.
  4. I found it's easier at first to have the front wheel in a slight hollow in the ground, not much, just enough that as you move the bars the tyre acts against the inside of the depression. I am after getting a bit better at it myself, dropping the tyre pressure helped too.
