Mick Andrews... what can you say about the bloke ? In his day a fantastic rider (from what you all say he still is.. but alas I haven't ridden a trials bike for nearly 20 years)... I remember practicising at his home ground often a couple of times a week at Holloway.. and no matter how fit we were.. he always rode us into the ground ! His knowledge of trials was incredible.. was a pleasure to try and learn some of his techniques. Jill his wife was also very nice (although she did introduce me to liver and onions !) Anyone remember their little dog.. Bumble.. cute was an understatement and I think everyone involved in trials in the 80s will have been blessed with a few words of Micks wisdom.

Blimey what a find this website is. I had forgotten when Lloydy won.. and yes it did pee it down on that day... oh what memories.. also remember Julian Ingham falling off the log bridge.. going mental and gunning the bike all the way round. Didn't Steve 'Woody' Hole win a few kickstarts ?
