Try and get a 99/200 Montesa 315 or a Beta. From what i have read and listened to they seem to be best for beginers as they are a good ride and the most reliable/snap proof of that era - which is good for VFM. I bought a 99 Mont for
Hi all - driving to work today 9friday 20th Feb 09) i saw some Castrol Triangles on a roundabout (B3000) off the A3 nr Puttenham and Compton in Surrey. Anyone know what event these are for?

Hey All - im a "standard" trials rider (315r) but have recently read about LDT's and TBT's. Anyone know when any are on Near Guildford/Aldershot ish. I woudl also love to do some green lane-ing on my Trail bike (DR 125 - bless) anyone know where i can find out legal routes of groupl i can join near me for a burn??
The best thing is to look at the Clake web site http://WWW.CLAKE.COM, the best information is in the FAQ section. You will see that the set up can be varied by changing the cams in the lever assembly.
that website doesn't work. woudl be interested to read up on it. Sounds great, just can't imagine it in practice
I'm sure i read somewhere that there is a clip on Cycle rack you can get to go on a Dave Cooper Trials bike rack - any one know of this? have tried emailing them earlier. But just wondered if anyone on here new owt.
I have a dave cooper on the back of my Nissan Xtrail - its brilliant so much less bother than a trailer. Strap wise i use BMW ones. A great tip i got of my Dad - just go into a dealer and ask niceley if they have any of the straps they use in the containers that deliver the bikes spare. They are ace and never come loose.
I use a Dave Cooper rack on the back of the wife's Renault Megan and it works very well. The only criticism is once the bike is on you do not have access to the boot. So I usually get changed then lift a muddy bike up on the rack with clean clothes....my wife loves it
Nice looking bike Moto - love those fork tubes. I'm pretty green around teh gill so forgive me. how do you go about getting new tubes/stansions to fit the bottoms - i want gold ones now i have seen those, or red would be nice
Hello Chaps - im gonna get a new chain on my bike and thought i get a new sprocket as well. Have seen some nice red Talon ones on Ebay. They come in 40 or 42 teeth. Its to dark after work to go and count how many i have on mine. Which should i go for. I guess the more i have the lower the gearing so i was thinking 42.
I have that exact same bike and I have found it brilliant. I started out on a 78 Bultaco but it was a bit of a beast for learning, i got the mont last Easter and have really come on leaps and bounds - they are bullet proof and easy to ride.
The 315's are all 2 strokes - the Montesa 4RT are 4 strokes and replaced the 315 in 2005 (i think)
