HI, I fitted one and managed to bleed the brake to ALMOST as it should be but was struggling to get lever pressure. After asking around someone told me to remove the master cyl cap and just"flick" the brake lever enough to move the piston about 2-3mm and watch for little bubbles, sure enough the last bit of air came out and now have pressure at the lever and the brake is perfect except for a bit squeaky from fluid on the pads. The only downside is it took a good half hour or more of fiddling with the lever but it's worth knowing. Good luck with yours.

Thanks for that mate, excuse my ignorance but does this mean you bleed using the banjo bolt and don't touch the grub screw? What's the difference between the two banjo bolts? Cheers again.

Have just fitted an xblok front caliper to my evo. Can anyone give an explanation of the best way to bleed the system ? There is no bleed nipple fitted, just a small grub screw, is this normal or should there be a proper nipple ? Many Thanks.
  4. Does anyone know if the evo heavy duty springs from SXS will fit onto a ohlins shock ?

Does anyone have any ref nos for the swinging arm and suspension linkage roller bearings ? Cheers...
  8. X11's looking favourite so far. I think I'd still go for IRC if seller agreed to swap it if it's not right though.
  9. Am ready for a ner back tyre for my evo, are there still problems with th IRC's not staying up on the MORAD/DID rims? Also how do x Lites compare for grip?
  10. Hi Mate. I had the same thing with my '04, it might sound obvious but have you made sure you're not kinking the fuel pipe when putting the tank back on ? Mine had been shortened a time or two over the years and so couldn't be routed properly, a longer pipe sorted it. I know it's basic but I fell for it!!!!! Good luck.

Saw something the other day about "down and back peg hangers". Does anyone know if these are available and if so where to get any? I'm doing some tinkering with my 315 and wouldn't mind trying a set.
  13. Has anyone had trouble with IRC tyres not staying up? A mates had one on his new beta from new and it just wont stay up. They are superbly "grippy" tyres especially in muddy conditions but are they let down by this ? I've had one and it was the same on my rev3 with rim tape but this ones just as bad on the new rim i.e. Morad or DID....

Looks like you got it spot on with the icing mate!!! Went out today without altering anything, bike ran sweet as a nut. I'll remember that one in future. Cheers.

To richen it up do I screw it out further on this carb? Also, now you mention it, it was really cold last time out so the carb could have been iced up. Am out tomorrow so will have a play with the mixture screw and see what happens. Thanks for the help.
