  1. Hi all, Mark from Brum here just saying hello. Just did my first trial in about 10 years a couple of weeks ago at ESTC and looking forward to the next, probably Shatterford on the 22nd. So may see you about.

Are you the bloke with the nice landrover?

  2. I'm going to whip it out and examine it. once I've done this I'm going in the garage and taking the carb off my bike and doing the mod as shown in the daigram, if it works great, if not I'll wait until I have a bit of time off the bike planned and send it to BVM because they have been a very reliable company and always on the ball so far.

    Thanks for the info guys.

  3. My carb is leaking fuel and niticed a post on here suggesting lampkins carb mod

can anyone tell me an idea what they do?

    how long does it take?

how much does it cost and mainly does it work.?

Does he take them by post and deliver back?

Also should I bother or does it need another strip and clean and adjust?

    Cheers

  4. When I'm getting ready to ride I always start by filling with fuel, running my bike, getting changed and whilst nobody is around I slip a big pair of socks down my underpants but only when wearing my licra bottoms, It looks a million dollars andI'm certain people do a double take when they see it. Is this normal behaviour or does anyone else do it?

  5. It's interesting this is, when I was a racing cyclist everyone had to get fitted to their bike, when I say fitted I mean every millimetre was taken into account and there was a special service for it. I must admit my back suffers after a day on the bike. I think it's partly due to a motorsport crash in August where I was karted off in an ambulance unconcious and partly due to how I fit the bike. I'm going to have an hour or so playing with my bike until I feel like it fits.
