  1. Enjoy it....I loved it mate, serious giggle, even when my shirt got caught on a tree in section 8 and nearly had me off the back LOL NNL
  2. Hi, Just recovering LOL from entering the Essex n Suffolk's Trial on Sunday @ Raydon, I'm very new to all this, I found the trial quite a challenge - a good thing, I'm not moaning its only my 3rd attempt. I attempted every section and received 165 out 210 points (I came last LOL) But I'm surprised so many of the "Novices" look like experts to me....... Is the Novice really the clubman and should I be looking for Beginners / Wobbler's trials.. Just like to hear peoples thoughts on difficulty factor, a couple of the guys there said different clubs run at different leaves of difficulty. I'm off to practice jumping over logs without bailing out LOL NLL

  8. I'm a relative novice, But if I can add my little bit, I have spent at least 8 hours on a Beta 250 REV 3 and now two fun trials and two play sesions on a Gasgas 250 (so about the same amount of starts n stops) Biggest problem for me was the left foot kick start on the Beta R's NLL
  9. Hi Paul, All seems sorted now (Garden Test Ride) thank goodness for Ipone neighbors just love that strawberry smell LOL I dropped the oil out washed the plates with petrol and dexron and refilled with Motul Dexron Gear Oil about 400 ml (same as I used in the Pampera), Also fitted a new float needle n seat care of Mike at MotoMerlin (save me carrying round a rock to clump the carb LOL) Probably go to Raydon or Corton for a test drive this week if I get time. All the best Graham
  10. Hi Guys, n Girls, I have just bought myself a 2002 250 TXT Pro Did my first trial last Saturday fantastic! Clutch was dragging badly so today I drained it and replenished with 5 - 30 symbiotic Castrol to 3/4 way up eye glass about 400 ml I've see 350 and 550 mentioned as capacity for gear oil Hope this is right the previous owner said that the bike has 2003 clutch and gear box is this a common mod? Second Observation the rear brake is very sharp resting foot on it lock rear wheel, is this normal pads look good, should I get used to it or investigate? Any advise gratefully received, could some one give me a run down on differences between pro and non pro version Graham
