    Sherco 4T?

Sorry for asking here about a friends tecnical problem with his Sherco 3.2 (year 2005)... Bike starts with no problem, but after about a 10 minutes ride it shuts off and wont start until it is cooled down. After that it starts with no problem. Where could be the problem? And another one: is it possibile to adjust valves with the engine mounted (Sherco 3.2, year 2007)or should it be dismounted form the frame? Regards.

    Rear shock set-up

I wrote an e-mail to the Olle factory about the stiffer spring... here is an answer: The spring strength of this model of shock absorber is 7,2 kg/mm. We have another one of 8,3 kg/mm. If you are interested in it, we could send you the spring and change it yourself or if you prefer it, you could send us the shock absorber and we could revise it... it includes the checking of all the components, change of compression buffer and change of oil and gas. After revising it, we would send you the shock absorber with the new spring mounted and we would return you the old spring.

    Rear shock set-up

So... is there on the market some stonger springs that could be replaced with the stock ones. I own a 2007 Sherco 3.2 and I am quite a heavy rider (90kg). I found the stock spring a litlle bit to soft for me.
  4. Yesterday while riding my Sherco 3.2 (2007) I noticed one thing: when I descenting of the stip hill, with presed clutch and no gas the engine shuts off! After that it is quite hard to restart. I must kick at least 20 times. I know there must be something with the carb, but what??? Thanks in advance for all the advices.
  5. Does anybody knows, why the idle screw on Keihin PKW 28 carburator is made of plastic and not from some kind of metal??? Mine broke while adjusting .
  6. From which material are clutch and ignition cover made of?
  7. Is there any trick to check water pump working beside taking off the pump cover?
  8. Today I took it apart. Looks like the gear in some strange way managed to fall of the shaft. After I saw the way the gear is fixed on to the shaft (with gear pin) I dont have a clue how that happened. The gear was laying on the bottom of the cranckase - unharmed; lik a new one! I have put it back together, and now the pump is working just fine. Maybe the previous owner (some spanish guy) did some work around water pump and didn't put it back together in a proper way!? Once again... thanks again for the hints AirFrut. One more question: is there on the market some good but cheap replacement for the original Beta REV 3 skidplate? Original is 77
  9. I still havent unscrew off the internal clutch cover. If I pull out the wp counter shaft, should be the water pump gear seen through the hole (through barrings)?
  10. Just another thing: from which material is water pump gear (sprocket) made of? Plastic? regards
  11. AirFruit: you were right! I did exactly as you said and the counter shaft of the water pump (with pump fan) just came off. How can w.p. gear pin fall out of its position? Happened in the past to anyone else?
  12. I was changing the transmision oil on my Beta REV 3 270 (year 2007). When I took the drainout screw out there was an engine part stock on the magnet which I dont know. It is 22mm long and about 2mm thick... as you can see it on the picture. Engine is still working fine. What is it? Should I bee worried?
  13. Does anyone have experience with Heidenau tyres (K 67 model)?
  14. Same problem in Slovenia. I am thinking of modifying the Dave Cooper rack to fit the swanneck and some detailed pictures will be great. Can anyone post some pics?
