  1. Thank you Charlie, Do you use an Andy Bamford frame? How much are they? I'm off to Google him ;-) Taking my grandson and my new to me, Beta 200 to the Berko trials ground tomorrow. Set up a few sections for him and I to go at. Regards Richard
  2. Many thanks Big John, I do have an 18" alloy rim to go on WD hub and 1.1/8" standard forks. I would not know how to put other types inside them. What is the difference in performance? The carb details will be very useful too. Regards Richard
  3. Hi, I have owned a Matchless 350 trials motor since 1965 and ready for the AMOC Towcester national Jampot rally a few years ago got it all together with 21" and 19" rims but in a road frame. I now have a desire to make it reasonably competitve in the clubmans sections. The question is what do I need to do please? I have alloy rims in stock, new tyres [they were in 2001!] and a rear frame section from an AMC lightweight plus a fiberglass tank. Your collective advice please. Thanks. Richard in Bedfordshire.

    Tie Downs

Hi, I am returning to trials [Ossa MAR and Grandson on a Beta] we need some new tie downs. The last ones I bought from the offer T&MX hurph years ago. Which sort are the best and where do you find them please. I have seen the cheap ones on the market stall and steer clear. Thanks Richard
  5. Have you tried www.electrexworld.co.uk ? Cheers Rich
  6. Thank you for the PDF it is a great help for my 01. It does not tell you how to remove the wheel bearings. On my Ossa I can knock them out from the opposite end because the spacer is smaller and will move to allow purchase on the old bearing but the Mont seems to be solid with no movement allowing a good purchase with my brass drift. Am I being too soft with it? Cheers Richard
  7. Hi, I am Richard and have moved from an Ossa MAR to a Montesa 215 2001 now the body is wearing out! I joined whilst looking for info on removing the front / rear wheel bearings. The forum looks interesting.
