  1. Hi mate i agree with the price of 1400 ish but have you thought about part exchanging the bike for the gasser or sherco? I just recently part exchanged my 08 beta 125 for an evo 250 and i was more than happy with the deal as i got 2200 for my beta which was in good condition, plus road reg for free and tax half price!! All i had to do was put 2200 guid towards the bike! The place that i went to was craigs motorcycles Craigs Motorcycles Ltd Wesley Place Dewsbury Ring Road Dewsbury WF13 1HX http://www.craigsmotorcycles.com/ so check it out as i was well happy with my deal and the friendly service was top notch
  2. Yes i have competed in official trials before as i am a member of the spen valley club and i go to most of there trials. Also i have competed in the ymsa 6 round events before and i didnt do too bad on the hard course. I think that i have been to a few bradford trials before but cant be certain, errm i will have a look at the site and thanks for the reply. elliott
  3. Hi bud i have always stuck with beta as the reliability is second to none. But its not just that i think that they are a pretty bike to look at, the power is not harsh and aggressive with any nasty bite to it. And not so long ago i say a beta 250 08 immaculate condition that was at 2000 buy it now on ebay, and when i say immaculate it looked like that it had never been ridden at all. But i cant tell you which bike to have as it is all down to personal preference the best thing to do is test ride the bikes that you are cosidering, but the beta from 07 onwards if it is in good nick is a good buy
  4. Hi ian, ive just become a member myself how long you been riding for?
  5. Hello to all of the TC members out there i just thought I d introduce myself good and proper! My name is elliott and i have been on the trials scene for nearly 7 years now and love it! It was my dad who got me into the sport when i was 10 years old. My first bike was a clipic 50 big wheel then once i had out grown that i got a second hand 2002 beta rev3 125 which both were great, but then after a while on that i got a 2005 beta rev 3 200. I kept that for 2 years until i got a 125 again but it was the revolutionary 07 model with the new engine and i must say what an improvement on the 02 125 and the 05 200 that i had before. Then in 2008 i got the 08 version of the 125 and begun too struggle with power so as soon as the evos came out i got the 250. Any how back to about me and not the bikes. I am from the Halifax ripponden area up near Pennine trialsport as some of you may know where that is. I am still at school but in the sixth form now and I am studying:Art, Physics, Applied I.C.T and product design its hard work but the parties are good! Its not just off road bikes i also have an aprillia rs 50 which i use obviously to go to school etc. so yeh thats me and some bike history for you.
  6. I don't see what all of the fuss is about, i mean i have been using the standard michelins for years and i love them they last for ages i think that they are definatly a better tyre than irc and dunlop, and they grip well too what more could you want? And all you get from the new tyre is a weight loss which frankly i don't think is worth that amount of money!
