John Just done my 242 and didn't select anything just installed it. Had to install it a few times as I had strange things happening with but got there in the end. Just have a go.

Update Have got most bits and am starting to put engine back together, frame done and front end fitted. will try and add pics.

Fantastic news, just recieved brand new piston rings from kevin at http://kevinbreedonracing.co.uk/index.htm and they fitted like a glove. Will start to rebuild engine now.

Might be OK good news from kevin Bradon Racing UK he has found me 2 new rings and will get them next week. Still looking for a side stand though. Just got the frame back from powdercoating really good job. Try and get some phots up soon.

Thought as much. Still trying to get some piston rings, more chance in getting rocking horse poo! Bore 71mm. I have one ring that I will need to cut off 3mm to fit but will that be too much and change the shape of the ring?? And will it run OK with one ring? Cheers

I now have the engine together and wating to get some piston rings. Ohh I need a little help on how to setup the kick start shaft, how to set the return gear location.

Hi All New to this site and to trials so Hi to all, anyhow my mate is doing up a Fantic but me being me I've gone and bought a 242 to restore and making a few calls have found out that this bike may be hard to find parts. I'm just dismatiling it at present so not sure what I'm after, if you know what I mean. many thanks for any input. Andy.
