Hi my brother in law is selling his 1998 beta techno it is in good clean condition with purple and grey plastics. The left fork seal is leaking a little and the rear brake needs bleeding apart from that the bike is fine. thanks for the advise ive got some belzona liquid metel im gunna remove middle box and fix leaks with this it should then be as good as new

were would i get a steel middle box from can you buy them off the shelf from the dealer ?? how much are they ?

Ive moved this post from the mechanical section to in here cos i got no answers in that section hope someone here will be able to advise me Hi my gas gas txt 280 has got broken exhaust brackets under the middle box and is blowing a bit. Its not blowing enough to make the exhaust louder as i can tell but will the bike be losing power due to it losing gas from the middle and not the end of the exhaust pipe ? The bike as been like this since i got it so i havnt noticed any power loss myself but was just wondering if the bike would pull more or be more responsive if i fixed this problem. The bike seems fine to me but if i sort the exhaust out it might feel miles better. ? what do you lot think and is this a known problem with the gas gas (its a 2000 model) any help would be great cheers.

Hi any help on this would be great ive been kindly sent via e.mail a membership aplication form for bradford trials club and also they have sent me an ACU aplication form aswell but the ACU aplication is in pdf format i know i need adobe acrobat to open this file and i have this installed on my pc but every time i click on a pdf document the damn pc says it cant find a certain file to start the adobe program ??? ive uninstalled adobe and reinstalled it loads of times but i keep getting the same error message ?? So my question is does anyone have a link were i can get a ACU aplication form but not in pdf format ive looked all over the net but the ACU aplication is always downloadable as pdf only.

ive recieved an e.mail from bradford trials club and the guy (Ron) is going to forward me a couple of acu application forms and some info about bradford trials club so it looks like me and a mate will soon becoming the newest members of bradford trials club I promise i will never say bradford trials club that many times in one sentance again as far as i can tell if youve not got a acu license your up **** creek if you come off and hurt yourself or anyone that happens to be in the way when you come off and its only a tenner so whats the big deal ??

Hi everyone im from dewsbury west yorkshire and was wondering if anyone is a member af a trails club in or around the same area ? Ive had my bike (gasgas txt 280) around six months now and im now interested in joining a club and maybe getting into doing a few proper trials insted of just going around the woods and old quarrys in my area. Any info about clubs or places to ride would be much appreciated ive looked around on the net but not come up with much at all. I need answers and info like do i have to be legal on the bike to be a member of a club (ive got no bike license and it isnt road legal) and do i need to be a certain standard on the bike as im not very good realy ??
