Don I've just changed the seals on my 2002 - and you just need to persevere with the "pulling". It took quite a few sharp tugs, but the seals came out OK.

I heard the commentator say that he had a stopwatch on his handlebars which he sets off as he starts the section! Not sure how easy that would be to read as you hop the bike around or as you fly through the air, but it seems to work for him.

Does anybody know of a cross reference for the rear suspension bearings (2002 model) - or can you only get them from Montesa? Any other tips on overhauling the suspension?
