wheres this at? can it be ridden all year (practice), or only open for trials events?

how do you replace the fork seal, and re fill with oil on the 2010? any how to's any where?

right ive took the sprocket off and removed the shift seal bushing (MT280236046), that was quite rusted and worn... ive took the red o ring and the black o ring out from behind the shift seal.. both of these look ok.. would the worn/rusty shift seal bushing cause the leak?

my 2010 gas gas has sprung an oil leak, it seems to be coming from behind the front sprocket... 1st question is what seal do i need to replace (name of seal?) and 2... can it be replaced with out stripping the engine down?

any one know where i can get one of the silencer covers like on the bike pictured?

just checked mine and theres no click, so i guess it needs adjusting! wish i knew this the 1st time i had the clutch etc out

ive noticed sometimes when downshifting the gear dosent actually drop, it almost drops them seems go back in to the gear it was in, but if im hardly moving, or stood still, all gears change no problem... is this normal or does something need adjusting?

im taking it to a gasgas dealer today for them to listen to/ride make sure things are right so we shall see cheers for the input

right, fixed this and........... still rattles like a bitch! also ive noticed after a hard rev and let off quick, thers a loudish clang noise.. any ideas? loosk like ive bought a ****ter!

just got a new quadrant and idler, the quadrant and idler seem to catch, when lookin at the old quadrant, it seems to have both corners machined off, where as this new quadrant only has 1 corner machined off... does the 300 have both corners machined off?

right ive opened the engine up for a look, i think the previous owner knew ther was a problem because the allen bolt holding the clutch basket in was rounded off! ive got that out and found these 2 cogs damaged... are these the ones your all on about?? kick start teeth snapped this is the cog that the kick start goes to... all the corers are slightly chipped.. are them the ones that will be causing my problems?

its just how loud it is that seems odd, and the fact it make the same noise when riding etc... my mates is no where near as loud as this is...

i recently bought a gas gas 2010, i noticed it had a rattle at idle, which i was told is pretty normal with gas gas, but this is really loud compared to my mates gas gas... you can also hear it loudly when riding as well, which is very annoying! surely this cant be normal? vid of the noise, hard to realise how loud it actually is in a video...

this seems VERY excessive compared to my mates gasgas, i can hear it whilst riding etc, its actually gettin on my nerves! any ideas?

is there anyway to stop the annoying clutch rattle on the gas gas? ive been told its normal and nothing that can be done, rattles on idle with clutch out, as soon as you pull it in it stops... anyone?

i feel im in the same boat as you, not rode for about 6 months, just buying a bike tomorrow! so i bet im even worse now! might see you at charltons in the not so distant future lol

forgot to menton, mine is a 2007 sherco

well, my sherco has let me down yet again. was riding around at the weekend, nothing spectacular as im just a begginer really, only been riding a year. my mate shouts over to me that my chain looked slack, so i stopped to have a look, what a shock i got... this is what i found. no idea why its failed, i didnt fall off, drop the bike, smack it off anytihng.. been quoted

mines a 2007 290... feels no where near as easy as the gas gas pro

i thought this was the problem, but ive renewed all the linkage bearings etc.. still the same

the headangle on my sherco seems really steap, are the generally pretty steap on shercos? my mate has a gasgas and thats FAR easier to get on the front wheel than my sherco, feels shorter...

i was thinking the same lol!

so ATF that you would use in a car is ok? just abit warey incase i nack up the clutch or something

can i use any ATF? what about MTF?
