November 2, 200619 yr Off hand, as I recall, the 247 went to 238cc in '78 and was discontinued in '79 and replaced by the 248 which was a 349 with a smaller bore. Edited November 13, 200619 yr by vintageCota

November 13, 200619 yr Off hand, as I recall, the 247 went to 238cc in '78 and was discontinued in '79 and replaced by the 248 which was a 349 with a smaller bore. I just did a bit of research, and the change to 237.5cc was in July '77 and the final "247" was #21M27337 built Oct 14, 1980 The 248 was also called a 21M, but started at #51000 in 1980 and was a 349 with 239cc The '77-'78 247 had an ugly "segmented" tank/seat with black-painted division lines. The '79-'80 had a tank more like a 348
November 13, 200619 yr The '79-'80 had a tank more like a 348 But white. See http://homepage.ntlworld.com/williams73/Tw...nShock_Home.htm
