neonsurge Posted November 6, 2006 Report Share Posted November 6, 2006 As far as I remember, not a huge amount: Tweaked suspension, different head porting and ignition changes. Oh, and they seem to have finally sorted the stator problems with the '06 models (although not all earlier bikes are affected). rick1 Posted November 6, 2006 Report Share Posted November 6, 2006 Buy the 05 add a V-Force reed kit and the 06 foot peg brackets (lowers your center of gravity for better balance) and you'll have a bike every bit as good or even better than the 06.....except for the color and flexible plastic. Having looked more at the second hand market there is only a 100 or so quid between some 05's and 06's. I think the 06 would be best for me. Cheers.
