December 11, 200619 yr only realised after reading tmx on friday that you had to pay for the test day, i knew the yorkies where a bit tight but WHAT, bvm in the southwest do a test day with most manufacturers in attendance(even montesa),and you dont pay a penny, good on you BVM. if you want to sell bikes you have to put a bit back, come on monty uk, did you people who paid a tenner get a hat or t shirt,or food? that may have been where the money went. oh and buy the way i do ride a 4rt.
December 12, 200619 yr I don't think i've ever seen a negative comment writtern in T&MX, now this is not critising the paper as i love it but to get a honest opinion on a subject you should look else where I agree- the last time i bought a copy they were testing one of the latest four strokes and managed to make light of the fact that it simply refused to start when hot! One of their team , by his own admission has a day job selling curtains or whatever. Its hardly gone from strength to strength in recent years. Twenty years ago you could get the weekends trials results as early as tuesday night if you picked up a copy of motorcycle news at the local speedway meeting. Now, with the benefit of computers, tmx are seemingly unable to collect and print results with any degree of reliability. Its a shame really.
December 12, 200619 yr Dixie, as a Yorkshire lass I must put you right about two things. 1 Yorkshire folk are not tight, and 2 Sandyfords are Lancastrians that just enjoy living next door to Gods County.
