Sidecars? Where, How, What. Why?

Featured Replies

OK, not sure if this is the correct forum, however I'm sure I will find that one out...

The wife owns a GasGas 125 and I have a 250. I am considering riding the 125 in solo events, cos its a great little bike. That leaves me the potential to convert the 250 into an outfit so we can do a husband/wife effort in sidecar events. Having run a few google searched on sidecar trials I can't find any source of outfits and other info. I'm fully prepared to convert the 250 full-time into an outfit. Can anyone help me out?

P.S The GasGas is an 07 250 pro.

Thanks

There was a similar topic not so long back Here now the info on this may not be totally relevant but the guy giving the info could be a very good source of info for you

If your willing to invest in a brand new sidecar then you need to speak to Bruce Rushton from Nelson, Lancs. He builds, fits and sets up the outfits of most of the top UK riders and has been doing for years.

Phone him on 01282 616167

You quite often get sidecars for off road use on sale on ebay.I`ve just had a look, but there is none on sale at the moment, but if you keep looking, you will see one eventually :D

Steve

I could put one together for you. :D

This is the first one I made back in 1972 in school. Since then I have built 2 for trials, one a my Yamaha TY350 and then to fit a Beta Rev3.
