March 9, 200719 yr i have a slow puncture in my rear tyre, i took it to my local tyre centre and they said they were not allowed to fix motorbike tyres??? he said it was commonplace at most places he knew. anyone else come across this?
March 9, 200719 yr Yep, heard that one myself a good few years ago! HSE and all that stuff... I suggest you pump the tyre up with a good few pounds in it and immerse it in a tank of water, preferably with a little washing up liquid in it. Lift it back out, be patient... you'll see the bubbles more easily when you then lift it out to look for the leak thanks to the w-up liquid. You can then stuff one of theose dog t*rds into the offending hole and seal it. Good luck!!

For large tank use the bath but preferably when the woman who must be obeyed is out shopping. lol mate... im lucky enough to have an old bath at work that i can use. first bike, so im assuming from your replys that my tyre is tubeless, and i can get one of those dog turd things to fix it? i always thought they had to be pulled from the inside of the tyre?
