Happy memories of ruining a clear cockpit canopy by holding it in place with a glue covered finger or trying to finalise the position of a roundel transfer on a wing and trying once to often to centralise it, only for it to split in two! telecat Posted September 12, 2007 Report Share Posted September 12, 2007 (edited) They were caught out by Heller SA the FRENCH company that held the moulds and manufactured the plastics going belly up. Hornby seem to have pulled the fat out of the fire and are planning to continue the range probably by sub-contracting to China(whoopi doo). Humbrol had sold the Heller concern to the French Management team but contracted them to produce the kits.
