January 10, 200818 yr First time travel from USA to '08 SSDT. Need advice as to where best to stay. Is there a central hotel/headquarters for the event? Also, which airport is best to fly in to? Thanks for any advice.
January 10, 200818 yr What part of the US are you flying from? best airport to fly to is Glasgow, then catch a bus up to Fort William. Best hotel would be one of the Hotels located just over the road from the park Ferme, after the first day you will understand why

The Cruachan (cheap and nasty, opp' the PF) The West End (looks quite nice, opp' the PF) The Alexander (nice enough but full of the purple rinse brigade every night, 10 minute walk in the morning, 20 minute walk at the end of the day) Lots of Bed & Breakfast's and guest houses in town too. Did you recover from Sheffield ok? Make sure your tool kit is bigger than your first aid kit
