manwithtool Posted March 11, 2008 Report Share Posted March 11, 2008 Sorry to repeat other bits....But just bought a 2005 4rt. can anyone tell me the name or spec of the gearbox oil ? don;t have the manual with me... Also reading the manual last night it says to inspect the piston every 6 months...does anyone really do that ?? had my 315r for 7 years and never saw the piston once... Also does anyone have any views on engine oils...any 10 40w oil be ok ? I have a supply of some semi synthetic 10 40W which would make life easier for me. any other service tips....things to check and things not to bother with ?
