Suffered a bit of chain rub on my boots(Novogar)

i have bought longer chain gaurd from trials cast

so no more rub

but what can i repair my boots with

super glued a piece of inner tube but it didnt last long

any ideas/advice

the cuts about an inch long

Seriously, there must be one near you and probably the best bet for any sort of permanent repair.

Or a saddlers, anyone with a long arm stitcher. Get them to put a patch on, glues will only work for a small amount of time.

Shoe goo, see ebay, use to use it back in my skateboarding days, i've used it on my boots for where the rear brake clip rubs (beta)
