Hi all

Seriously thinking of getting into actually riding my twinshocks again instead of just collecting.

In in the Poole area, and just wondered which clubs are still offering something suitable for my old mounts and older bones!

I spoke to Annie Chandler last night as I was a good pal of Geoff's and Sotton Vikings no longer run any events.

I've obviously been out of this far too long and have no idea where all these years have gone.

Next dilemma will be which bike to ride, but I'm sure I'll find a favourate.

check out the Waltham chase mcc they are running a trial on New Years eve with twinshock safe sections, try google for their web page. also Ringwood mcc are still running trials in your area also suitable for pre65 and twinshock check TMX news for regs. regards Mark

Thanks. I've spoken with the membership sec of the Waltham Chase club and they seem ideal. I'll try Ringwood too, and also see if Waterside JMCC is still running.

Shame about Vikings though that was a great club.

Now to get preparing a mount or two.

theres an amca club called blackmore vale run trials in mere area, good , ideal for twinshock do believe they have one over christmas

if you do not mind a bit of traveling the somerton amca are a good club and cater for pre-65 and twin shock, nothing too silly esp on the easy route, they have one on 27 dec in a quarry, see tmx for details.

Thats another to add to the list.

Is the Wilts and Dorset club still running. Jeff Bungay used to sponsor the twinshock series I think. I seem to remember the name of Roger Painter or similar as running it. I think it was an invite only club.

Have a look at this web site, the are based around the Bath / Bristol area, but the have some great trials, with good turn outs
