June 13, 200917 yr Hi all, Just a quick query. When I was a lad (back in the late 80's) I remeber having a brilliant trials training video and I am pretty sure it was by an American by the name of Jack Stykes or similar. I'm getting back into trials and was just wondering if anyone had heard of this video or if there are still any copies of it in the world? Thanks for looking Torquil
June 13, 200917 yr Im not sure on the video but the guy you are talking about is probably the former north american champion Jack Stites, a former competitor and then commentator in the BBC kickstart competition during the 1980's.

June 15, 200917 yr Author Hi, Thanks for the updates. I do remember that it was a very long video, and yes it's probably boring, but it was very detailed and taught you everything you could ever need to know. 2/4, I've always tried to have a trials bike ever since I started road racing, and I went though a period without one, but now I've got the loan of a Scorpa 250 and am loving getting out for a play on it when I'm not racing. I might try some trials before the end of the season, but I think I get too nervous and lose all sense of balance!
