jonny5 Posted July 15, 2009 Report Share Posted July 15, 2009 hi guys hope someone can help.... my 06 beta 250 has started to make a "Funny" noise, when i put the revs on then snap the throttle shut it makes a metallic tinc,just once. it does it in every gear but not when i rev it with the clutch in. i know its hard to diagnose these things without hearing it but any ideas would be much appreciated. Try mixing 50:50 race fuel, with pump gas, and see if it goes away. Most likely pre-detonation from not having a high enough octane fuel.
