December 2, 200916 yr I have a Tarabusi piston No 7-313. That i belive is suitable for the 247 Cota, The piston does not have an arrow to indicate which way round it goes, It has the two piston ring locators at 10.30 and 1.45 aproximatly on the short shirt side. Can any body throw any light on this for me Thanks John H

December 5, 200916 yr mark the location of the ring locating pins on the top of the piston with a felt tip marker, put the piston in the cylinder, move it through the stroke and see where the locaters line up, when installed correctly the ring end gaps will not be open to a port.
