I seem to remember Don Smith, Mark Kemp and Richard Sunter riding all-black engined "450s" in the Scottish, they had a very large triangular silencer if memory serves. I wonder where they are now.

Yes,it was the same guy who later worked for Yamaha.I'am not shure but it could be that Barry Sheene had also one of the 450 KT's.

Yep, Don, Mark and Richie tried to campaign them.

Well, not the 450's maybe.

But the KT 250 never took off.

Never 'felt' right somehow.

Other bikes at the time were more competitive, no dearer to buy and easier to get bits for.

Well, thats My memories of the bike.
