June 22, 201016 yr I am picking my car up on Thursday and have a bike rack, I got with the bike. The rack is one that bolts on and I am NOW told that the SEAT LEON 2010 does not have a 'bolt on' type tow bar available. The only one available I have been told is a 'Brink 4466', Swan neck bar. It's a company car and work were going to pay for the tow bar, however the only one that will fit is uselsss for the only thing I will use it for if I can not find a rack, I would have preferred to use the exisiting one to save pennies (want to use it for a mountain bike rack too - not purchased yet) Does any one know of a SEAT Leon 2010 with a bolt on tow bar that can help? or does any one know of a trail bike rack that will fit the only tow bar I am todl will fit on my car? I am pining to get out on my bike, as I have not been out this year at all !!!!! (.. I know..) Edited June 22, 201016 yr by GILL
June 24, 201016 yr Bosal do not list a normal towbar for this car neither do Witter. However I don't think the Leon changed from 2009 to 2010 and Towequipe list a standard flange type towbar for the 2009 year. Give them a call and they might be able to help.
June 24, 201016 yr Surely a welding and fabbing shop can do a bit of butchery on the swan neck towbar, and turn it into something more useful !
