October 2, 201015 yr Help please best paint to use when painting montesa engine casings black. I was considering using pj1 satin black or as anyone got any better ideas?
October 3, 201015 yr just done my bultaco cases and top end in Plastikote Barbecue paint. super finish but you should do a test first to see if it reacts to any residual paint on the engine.If you can remove all the existing paint then all the better.
October 4, 201015 yr Not sure whether or not it is available in the UK, but I have always used Rust-Oleum Semi-Gloss black. It is in between gloss and satin and very closely matches the original engine paint.
October 5, 201015 yr Duplicolor brand engine paint, it's oil & gas resistant, and available in a variety of colors
