nickjc Posted December 19, 2010 Report Share Posted December 19, 2010 i tried to start the gasser this morning as i was going to spend the day out in the woods, i kicked the bike over and it started on the second kick as normal but it stalled so i gave it another kick when i heard a crack as the kick start went down and now the kick start goes up and down by hand with a lot of clicking snagging, any ideas what this could be guys. redneck Posted December 19, 2010 Report Share Posted December 19, 2010 i partly agree with lineaway. its gonna be the kickstart spring that broke but chances are you may not have to replace idler gear. i had a similar thing happen on my pro model gasser. idler was fine, just lots of spring pieces everywhere. its got the scars to prove it.
