Firstly , i must admit ignorance about the levy the English pay, but if ours is added to the licence price, then why does the club also have to pay a levy at the end of the year, for every rider??

Or do the English clubs pay this as well??

I'm not denying that trials is the cheapest form of motorsport ( a friend does race car sprinting and hillclimbs and pays

I should have phrased it better, it's not a levy but a capitation fee.

English trials riders do not buy a licence but a registration card then pay levies at each trial.

Other ACU licence holders pay

from a southerner (south of the Thames ) point of view many are envious of your system .....

you pay once and its done, a regular trails rider is paying something like

I fully agree that trials riding is one of the (if not THE) cheapest motorsports that you can do - however I do not agree with the licencing system in Scotland - my mate has two sons and he has just had to fork out
