May 24, 201115 yr silly /simple question for you........ my rear tyre is a little worn but still ok i guess, but i was wondering, is it ok to take it off and turn it round the other way to make the most of the sharper edge to the tyre blocks ?
May 24, 201115 yr I do that to every rear tire I have on my Sherco. I get 2 seasons out of a tire that way. (yep i am a cheap Ba****d)
May 24, 201115 yr If you can run it for several miles on the road it will pull up a new edge and you can then turn it again ..plus the sidewalls get nice and soft.
May 25, 201115 yr Author lovely jubely..... im onto it......... i have some tyre levers and aim to go at it like i would a bicycle trye, albeit a little tougher, but..... what do i do with that locking clamp thangy and will there be one of them draft excluder snake things in there.....hahahah any tips are welcome..........
