August 4, 201115 yr I'm ging to look at a 2008 SY250 for a friend which I'm happy to do but not sure how to date the machine. Is there something on the '08's which I can ident it by? It's in a dealers and up for 2.2k which seems a bit heavy to me as well..

August 5, 201115 yr as thedbf says from 08 on they had marzocchi ally forks which have black stantions, previous models were chrome.
August 5, 201115 yr The 07 SY had black stanchions too on the Paioli's. My 08 has been the best bike i have ever owned, i keep thinking of swapping but i cant seem to part with it.

The 12th digit of the frame number on the headstock should be an 8 this is not necessarily fact just what i've been told!
