Featured Replies

hi there my scorpa is a 01 on the swing arm it has 2x aluminium blocks with groves on it so you can move the rear wheel on the snail cams , the snail cams go up against theses but mine are getting worn now and there's not much you can do with them just wanted to know has anyone made a modification to theses , has anyone else got the same prob or even seen this prob before.

ALL HELP CONSIDERED AND WONT BE WASTED!!!!!!!

Possible some of the Scorpa guys can post up an idea, but I need a pic cause I cannot recall exactly what they look like, other than possibly a bit different from some others.

Do you mean the blocks are worn or the snail cams?

would it be possible to file the block down drill and tap a hole for a allen bolt to go in then the snail can go up to the allen head or file down fabricate a piece of steel the same as the block was and bolt it on

 Prior to 2003, this is how they were made.

Little marks on the adjusters are useless.

They only work in a perfect world where all machining and welding is perfect, all jigs are brand new, frames never tweak and swingarm bushings never wear..

When the sprocket teeth run right in the middle of the chain, the wheel is aligned.

You could line the rear wheel exactly up to the front with string or straight edges, but then your sprockets probably wouldn't align and would wear prematurely.

Maybe the World Round guys need this perfect alignment, but I'd rather preserve my chain and sprockets.
