shercosi
Have picked up some new trials boots this weekend (forma boulder) and went to dig out my trusty dubbin only to find that its nearly empty. I have been using for years a brand known as "active dubbin in a tube" and have found it very good as its a gel type substance whch goes on easy and soaks in a treat now the problem is they have stopped producing it and was wondering has anyone else used a similar product that they can recommend thanks in advance

anotherfive
I power wash mine and dry over a few days on a brew heat tray then spray with wd40 a couple of times, they end up as soft as a babies kiss. Waterproof boots - its an anathama, get some waterproof socks tis much better,
jimmyl
Man up and accept wet feet -better than a trip over the bars rather than walking through that nasty water to see where the rocks and holes are. Last few years bought big pots of Dubbing over intyweb from saddlery shops. Much better value than little pots from shoe shops
sfield
Wash with saddle soap, dry and apply Neats foot oil mid week. Rub over before riding. Works for horse stuff and not too pricey from Saddle shop. I guess anything is better than lettingdry out.
jimmyl
Used to use Neatsfoot oil (don't tell the missus as she wondered why it never lasted long) but had a few boots where stitching seemed to fail. Not sure if coincidence but gone back to dubbin just in case.
