There's alot of talk in these forums about having to fix stuff on the newer bikes.

Which of the current model bikes do YOU think requires the least mechanical attention?

I am sold on Sherco's but I work for the importer. You wash them, change the transmission oil and clean the air filter. All very easy chores. You also have to put gas in them.

The bike is very easy to work on!

my mont is pretty good YK2000

bring her home wash , 3 bolts rear gaurd off

one split pin rear pads out, three bolts front caliper off. (4 pot galfer fitted)

why do they make em so you need to take rear wheel out to get to rear pads?

Probably because the pads don't need changing that often, just a wild guess.

so you wash yoru bike and leave em it to rust? i like to take mine out!

Without a doubt, the most maintenance free, easyest bike to work on, least amount to operate and last but not least .. the most reliable, is the Sherco. You can try to deny it, but just look around the pits at who is riding and who is tuning and mixing special fuel to make their bikes run better. not prejudice just a mechanic.
