There's alot of talk in these forums about having to fix stuff on the newer bikes. Which of the current model bikes do YOU think requires the least mechanical attention? wayne thais Posted December 31, 2003 Report Share Posted December 31, 2003 I am sold on Sherco's but I work for the importer. You wash them, change the transmission oil and clean the air filter. mark christopher Posted January 1, 2004 Report Share Posted January 1, 2004 my mont is pretty good YK2000 bring her home wash , 3 bolts rear gaurd off one split pin rear pads out, three bolts front caliper off. sherpa Posted January 2, 2004 Report Share Posted January 2, 2004 Without a doubt, the most maintenance free, easyest bike to work on, least amount to operate and last but not least .. the most reliable, is the Sherco. You can try to deny it, but just look around the pits at who is riding and who is tuning and mixing special fuel to make their bikes run better. not prejudice just a mechanic.
