Was out on my techno 99 other day, pressed front brake, lever came right back to the bar and oil seemed to p*ss out from the caliper half. Anyone know why this is, seal or caliper knackered? cheers

Only way to know is disassemble and have a look. You have to do it anyway.

I doubt the caliper is knackered. A seal and piston kit should sort it. You can get a kit from www.haventrialsport.co.uk for around £25.00 speak to Vince, a very nice and helpful chappie.

Seals suffer the same as us. Change them and it will be fixed.
