June 25, 201313 yr Hi guys. Appart from the std trailers or vans, what brackets etc have you guys built for your bikes? I just finished (still needs paint and tie down struts) today. I hve been putting the bike on the back but being a relatively new dad, I need the bin for packing space. If you have time, please show me the rigs you are using. Thanks.
June 25, 201313 yr By chance i was speaking at Alvie to a chap near here who, back in the 70s, had a similar channel across the back of his diesel Merc for his Bulto. The difference being he also had five bikes on a trailer behind, and let's not forget the TY 80 in the boot. Or all the riders, along with observers, inside the car.
June 25, 201313 yr Look under Trials Transport Forum. I like the simple and clean approach for tie down points that the Dave Cooper rack uses: two tie downs and no need to tie them bike to the back of the car, it's all to the rack. Edited June 25, 201313 yr by ross brown
