but if you are planning to ride in the great british weather then you may be caught our by fog at any time, at which point you can be done by police as it is reduced visibility, equally so if you get caught short so to speak, miss judging a journey (although i am not sure why anyone would want to go great distance on a trials bike) and ending up in twilight or darkness then again you can be done if pulled up by the coppers.

Sorry chaps, I know I don't have to have them for the MOT, just need them as jjwhite says in case I get caught out by the weather etc.

Just need them to pass the MOT rather than actualy to see by.

yes you would need a regulator/rectifier other wise you will blow bulbs when you rev the bike. As reguards colors havnt got a clue, but dead easy to fine out which wire does what with a ac meter.
