smalley250 Posted September 15, 2013 Report Share Posted September 15, 2013 Ive not ridden for a well over a year and last time i used my bike it was serviced and i often ran it up to temperature to keep it in good condition. Last year wife wanted a Veg rack in garage and against my advice we had one. The mouse then made home n i trapped it and got rid of the veg rack. Last week i finally got out on the bike to find it running rough after 5mins so clean carb out n all was well for a while then it re occured. On the third occasion i opened the airbox only to find a bloody mouse nest and it had eaten me air filter hence me issues. charlie chitlins Posted September 17, 2013 Report Share Posted September 17, 2013 Mice seem to love petroleum products. I think an oiled filter is more irresistible than a dry one. Mice have also chewed right through the plastic gas tank of my lawn mower. I used to deal with a lot of antique barn finds.
