February 2, 201412 yr How do you go about changing the fork oil on a 2005 scorpa? Any advice/good links much appreciated. Thanks.
February 9, 201412 yr Author Used the sherco site for the levels http://www.shercousa.com/pdfs/2006fork.pdf Used this site for the set up http://www.thehellteam.com/catalogue/c11/c27/c74 The right leg with the damper was the most trouble - difficult to get all the oil out. The damper rod stays attached but the tube slides down, pumping he damper seems to get most of the oil out. Volumes of oil given were too much so I went with height from the top of the tube. Have to see how it rides next trial.
February 11, 201412 yr You should always use an air gap when setting up forks as this gives you the most accurate measurement. This is a link to the workshop manual for an SY250F, however I am pretty sure they ran the same forks, so using this as a guide should sort you out. http://www.scorpausa.com/manuals/sy250fchassis.pdf Edit to add the linky!
