Will Trials Help My Riding?

Mutley, the answer is yes. Trials is a motorcycle discipline like no other, whereby the rider has to have full control of the machine and make it do what the rider wants by inputting the correct commands.

Basically, you get out what you put in, and it's all about bike control.

There's no winding it up and hanging on!, well maybe sometimes on an old fashioned graded hill.

Clubs round your way, Bridport in west Dorset, Otter Vale in Devon, there are loads, go on the ACU website and you'll find them.

The best way to learn is go to a few competitions and the established riders will help, advice and assist you all day long, and you'll leave smiling.

As for bikes, forget price, go condition, trials is a cheap sport and you could start with something like a £500- Techno which could serve you well, or get the latest tackle. Get what you like and what you like the feel off when riding.......

Welcome to the club, I'm only in Dorset and do a few Bridport trials, so may bump into you, literally.
