Hi, I'm a newbie, I've just bought a 04' txt pro 250. I'm trying to eliminate clutch drag and whilst taking of the clutch cover I found this small plastic piece lying in the bottom of the crankcase. Can't work out where it goes?

Water pump impeller ?

i dont know what that is but i bet it costs at least £30 to replace

well it looks plastic and chewed up. maybe its the kickstart stop? i had one fall apart and get chewed up. it sits right at the back of the case. maybe it fell of and get stuck in the varios gears and got turned into shape like it is now?wont be water pump impeller as dont think its possible for it to come out... just a thought haha

Only thing I can remember is plastic/nylon inside there is the stopper for the kickstart. I doesnt look like that, but beaten enough i can imagine that it will become like this..
