Forks ?

Featured Replies

Hi there ,

ive just bought these forks for my Cub ,

they are 30mm diameter sliders

the yokes have a big offset and have the tapered top

Does any one know what they were off and how old

are they suitable for the pre 65 scottish ?

How much offset do they a have, it looks like the wheel would be against the frame?

Think you will find the offset goes to the front of the bike and they look to be ajs/matchless amc type , could be gen trials as the trials bikes had an alloy top yolk

Looking at the picture the top yoke seems to protrude out a lot further that the bottom yoke so this will surely push the wheel back towards the frame?

Hi,

I would guess they are not a pair!

The top yoke is very similar to the type made by Eddie Dow and would normally fitted as a replacement top yoke when fitting clip ons for road racing or making a cafe racer, as they have no handle bar mounts.

That's my guess any way for what it's worth.
