Does A Ty 250 Mono Have A Powervalve?

Featured Replies

probably a silly question, but i haven't gota clue, my ty sounds starved and has no topend

Probably a blocked exhaust. They can run like a chaff cutter, unless properly setup.Properly sorted they are crisp and will scream.

I burnt out the exhaust, cleaned anything to do with the fuel flow and air flow, still runs like crap just doesn't have that pull, gear 1 and 2 are absolutely useless there's just NO top end of the gears, on a flat i could be as fast as it will go in third, chuck it into 4th and its just got nothing, barely starts to pick up

Ive rode my friends one and it absolutely flies, insane speed

I cant think of anything else other than a total rebuild that will fix it

Are you sure the clutch is not just slipping. I remember your old posts and video. The clutch will just barely slip and will cause the problems you are having.

I race mx every weekend and have a range of bikes, the ty is just perfect for my woods at home because of its agility and its not very noisy, plus you get it running quick its an absolutely awesome bike
