dadof2 Posted December 8, 2014 Report Share Posted December 8, 2014 The pads should retract slightly from the disc when the lever is released, the slave cylinder seals and seal grooves are profiled / designed to give a specific amount of retraction. Worn or ageing seals or build up of corrosion in the seal grooves or on the piston are common causes of insufficient retraction and pads rubbing on disc. 0007 Posted December 10, 2014 Report Share Posted December 10, 2014 There is no adjustment, typical of hydraulic brakes is that it's self adjusting for pad wear You could try pulling the caliper and pushing the Pistons back in to see if they are stuck in the caliper Bear in mind the fluid goes back to the master, it may overfill so don't use a clamp or you could blow up the reservoir Also make sure your wheel brgs are not the culprit, even a tight axle can cause drag Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
