Quite high scores, yet no complaints and scores competitively close together. We need more mud and rivers sections demanding continuous riding, not dry rock hopping with rest areas in between.

Where has WTC gone wrong?

Easy to blame the FIM,has there ever been much off a effort to promote trials at any level over the years?

Great day's indeed but the worlds moved on,your average rider now is a 40 something on a modern bike riding low scoring trials.

I suggest getting new riders is more of a priority than any changes at the top.

Enjoyed the video.

What's wrong with both? And have you seen the mud in the Belgian round last year?

By the way, in some countries it's forbidden to ride through rivers because of environmental legislation.

If you like slippery sections where the riders are constantly footing, you can watch extreme enduro. :P

Don't take this wrong Dadof2, but people wil always find something to nag about.

Just listen to the comment at 29:15
'There you can see just how slimy these rocks are.
Even the dry one there, doesn't seem to have any grip on.
And this quite simply, is Britain's problem, you cannot produce world champions on such conditions.'

another unwatchable video due to really bad music. i would love to hear how those bikes sounded back then. i started riding mx in 1975 never seen a trials bike until about 1990. question, does section layout dictate bike technology or vise versa? does bike technology dictate rider skill level or vice versa? which came first the chicken or the egg?
