looks and feels like mine hasn't been off for a while, whats the best/easiest method for freeing it up before i go ape**** with summin silly!!!!

If you mean the plastic or aluminium screw over the middle of the clutch the last very stiff one I removed I cut a piece of steel the width of the slot and ground it down to just fit in the slot and used a shifter to move it. This worked very well so I now have a steel tool for future use.Graham.

Hi Bullylover, that's exactly what i'm about to do unless someone pops up with a better option!!

Hit it with a big Hammer. only joking i use a old style bottle opener perfect fit.
